This map notes the proposed location of Wings CRS Regional Operations Centres (ROC) and Logistics Operations Centres (LOC).
Each of the 4 proposed Regional Operations Centres will house 3 teams of 1000 personnel to support rapid-response, recovery and resilience missions accompanied by 100 fixed and rotary wing aircraft, and over 200 vehicles. Each ROC mirrors each of the other ROC centres.
The LOC’s are designed to reduce the time and costs associated with responses which require multiple support sorties and refueling points. Each LOC will house up to 1 support team of 1000 personnel, several aircraft and vehicles.
All ROC’s and LOC’s incorporate a 10,000 foot runway, offices, air cargo terminals, training and recreational facilities, clinic, and sustainable water and food production to ensure ample supplies are available to meet mission requirements including supplying food for the team’s and their families.
At a later date it is proposed that Wings CRS will introduce its “Nomad Fleet” of 200 + ton capacity hybrid airships which can be prepositioned behind typhoons and hurricanes to speed response, or prepositioned to predicted “hot-spots” such as where an earthquake may occur. These airships will incorporate quick-change interchangeable modules, providing cargo, passenger or trauma hospitals. These airships are able to land or takeoff from land, marsh, ice, snow or water.
